Does Likepost Use Cookies or Other Tracking Methods?

On Likepost and Third Parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on our Services may use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and other technologies ("Technologies") to automatically collect information through the Services. •  Cookies. Cookies are small text files placed in visitors' computer browsers to store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Site may not work properly.

•  Pixel Tags/Web Beacons. A pixel tag (also known as a web beacon) is a piece of code embedded on the Site that collects information about users' engagement on that web page. Our Site includes social media features such as the Facebook "Like" button and LinkedIn (that might include widgets such as the share this button or other interactive mini-programs). These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. These social media features are either hosted by a Third Party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

The online advertising industry also provides websites from which you may opt out of receiving targeted ads from data partners and other advertising partners that participate in self-regulatory programs. You can access these and learn more about targeted advertising and consumer choice and privacy by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Alliance, the European Digital Advertising Alliance, and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.

Please note that you need to opt out separately for each browser and device. We specifically draw your attention to the fact that this action must be performed individually on each platform you use.

• Analytics. We may also use Google Analytics and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics on some of our Services, and to develop website content. This analytics data is not tied to any Personal Information. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can opt out of Google's collection and Processing of data generated by your use of the Services by going to https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our uses of such Technologies fall into the following general categories:

Operationally Necessary. We may use Technologies that are necessary to the operation of our Site, Services, applications, and tools. This includes technologies that allow you access to our Site, Services, applications, and tools; that are required to identify irregular Site behavior, prevent fraudulent activity and improve security; or that allow you to make use of our functions such as shopping-carts, saved search, or similar functions.

Performance Related. We may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies to assess the performance of our Site, Services, applications, and tools, including as part of our analytic practices to help us understand how our visitors use our Sites, determine if you have interacted with our messaging, determine whether you have viewed an item or link, or to improve our Site content, Services, applications, or tools.

Functionality Related. We may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies that allow us to offer you enhanced functionality when accessing or using our Site, Services, applications, or tools. This may include identifying you when you sign into our Site or keeping track of your specified preferences, interests, or past items viewed so that we may enhance the presentation of content on our Site.

Advertising or Targeting Related. We may use first-party or third-party cookies and web beacons to deliver content, including advertisements relevant to your interests, on our Site or on Third Party sites. This includes using technologies to understand the usefulness to you of the advertisements and content that has been delivered to you, such as whether you have clicked on an advertisement.

Your Options: Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies and tracking pixels. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set. Instructions to remove persistent cookies can be found through outside resources. Mobile devices may contain settings that allow you to disable tracking, analytics and/or location data. Be aware, however, that if you choose to disable cookies or opt out of tracking or disengage similar features on your mobile device, some areas of the Services may not be optimized for your use, you may not be able to access any or all of the functionality of the Services, and your experience using the Services will be limited.

However, you will continue to receive transaction-related emails about products or services you have requested. We may also send you non-promotional communications about Likepost and our Services (e.g., updates to our Terms or this Privacy Policy), and these communications cannot be opted out of.

Mobile Devices. Likepost may occasionally send push notifications through our mobile apps or other alerts that may be relevant to you. Cookies and Interest-Based Advertising. As mentioned earlier, you can prevent or limit the use of cookies by adjusting your browser settings. However, cookie-based opt-outs do not apply to mobile applications. On many mobile devices, you can limit certain types of mobile ads by adjusting your device settings.

The online advertising industry also offers websites where you can opt out of receiving targeted ads from data and advertising partners that participate in self-regulatory programs. You can learn more and opt out at: the Network Advertising Initiative or www.youronlinechoices.eu and www.aboutads.info/‌choices/. You can also choose not to be included in Google Analytics here.

To be clear, whether you are using our opt-out or an online industry opt-out, these cookie-based opt-outs must be performed on each device and browser that you wish to have opted-out. Advertisements on Third-Party websites that contain the AdChoices link and that link to this Privacy Policy may have been directed to you based on anonymous, non-Personal Information collected by advertising partners over time and across websites. These advertisements provide a mechanism to opt-out of the advertising partners' use of this information for interest-based advertising purposes.

Likepost may share aggregated data that does not include Personal Information, as well as non-identifiable data and log information, with third parties for purposes such as industry analysis, demographic research, advertising, and marketing. Any shared aggregated data will not contain your Personal Information.

Service Providers. Likepost may work with third-party companies and individuals to help operate our Services, provide services on our behalf, perform maintenance and research, or analyze how our Services are used. These third parties may include infrastructure providers, database managers, and web or mobile analytics services.

Business Transfers & Affiliates. Likepost may share Personal Information with business partners and affiliates for internal business purposes or to provide services you have requested. We may also share Personal Information with partners offering joint products or services, or whose offerings may be of interest to you. In such cases, both Likepost and the partner’s name will be displayed. Likepost requires affiliates and business partners to maintain the confidentiality and security of Personal Information and use it only for the intended purposes.

If Likepost or its assets are acquired by another company, or if Likepost is involved in financing, due diligence, or service transitions, your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred as part of the transaction. The recipient will be required to uphold the commitments outlined in this Privacy Policy. Likepost may also share information with affiliates within the same corporate group.

Marketing – Interest-Based Advertising and Third-Party Marketing. Likepost may allow third-party advertising partners to use tracking technologies (e.g., cookies) to collect information about your activities, such as your IP address, pages visited, and browsing times. Additionally, Likepost may share de-identified data or selected Personal Information (such as demographic details) with these partners to deliver targeted ads on non-Likepost websites. This practice, known as "interest-based advertising" or "online behavioral advertising," helps provide ads relevant to you. If you prefer not to have your Personal Information shared for these purposes, you can opt out at no cost by following the instructions in the "How Do I Opt Out?" section below.

Compliance with Laws & Law Enforcement. Likepost may access, preserve, and disclose your Personal Information or other account details if required or appropriate to:

(i) comply with legal processes, law enforcement, or national security requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders); (ii) respond to your inquiries or requests; (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of you, Likepost, or others; (iv) enforce Likepost policies or agreements; (v) prevent physical harm, financial loss, or investigate illegal activities; or (vi) act in good faith if disclosure is deemed necessary or advisable.

How Do I Opt Out?

General. You have the right to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information. If you have previously given consent for Likepost to process your Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Even if you opt out, we may still collect and use non-Personal Information about your activity on our sites or from third-party advertisements for purposes unrelated to interest-based advertising, such as measuring ad effectiveness.

Email. If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the email. We will process your request within a reasonable time after receiving it.

You can disable these notifications at any time by adjusting your mobile device settings. Likepost may also collect location-based information when you use our mobile applications. You can opt out of this by modifying your device settings.

"Do Not Track." "Do Not Track" (DNT) is a privacy setting available in some web browsers that signals a preference to prevent tracking of online activities over time and across different websites. Please note that Likepost does not respond to DNT signals or similar browser mechanisms.

For example, if you have opted-out on your computer browser, that opt-out will not be effective on your mobile device. You must separately opt-out on each device.
